01Our goal
We want everyone to be able to read this site, find what they need and get in touch, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or high-contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
02How this site is built
- Headings, landmarks and links are marked up so screen readers can follow the page
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are
- Text and buttons meet AA color contrast, and text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are explained in words
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers
- Animations stop when your device is set to reduce motion
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily on a phone
We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We build accessibility into the site itself.
03How we check it
Before launch and after major changes, we test with automated tools, a keyboard alone, a screen reader ([VoiceOver / NVDA]) and zoom. Last checked: [Month DD, 2026].
04Known limits
Some parts of the site come from other companies, such as the [booking tool] calendar. We choose tools with good accessibility, but we cannot fix them ourselves. If one gets in your way, call or email and we will book your time or answer your question directly.
Our free guides are also available as downloadable PDFs. If a PDF does not work with your setup, ask and we will send the same content in another format.
05Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, we want to know. Email [email protected] or call [(785) 000-0000]. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply within [2 business days] and work on a fix.
06For our clients
Every website we build is designed and tested to the same standard, WCAG 2.2 AA. Accessibility is part of the build, not an add-on. Keeping a site accessible over time also depends on the content added after launch, so we include simple guidance for photos, documents and new pages in every handoff.
